COUNSELING

Need someone to talk to?

Life can be stressful, especially for students or young adults who are trying to attend classes or start a career while dealing with troubles in their personal lives. This is why we offer affordable counseling services for students and young adults under the age of 30. We understand that many out there suffer from depression or anxiety, have difficulty with their parents, or are just feeling stressed and overwhelmed and need someone to talk to.

Hillel UW's Counseling Center, headed by our own Betsy Rubin, is here to help. Betsy has worked in the Jewish community and has run her own private practice for more than 18 years. She is M.S.W. and A.C.S.W. licensed. Her services are very affordable and everything possible is done to ensure privacy and confidentiality for her clients. Not only are both short and long term counseling available, but Betsy also makes an effort to have discussion and therapy groups during the academic year.

If you have any questions, would like a referral, or have suggestions for discussion or therapy groups, Betsy can be reached on her private line at (206) 525-6842.
