The New Hillel Center: It's Not Just for Undergraduates!
The newest building in Jewish Seattle (completed June 2004) has now become the address for Jewish young adult life in Seattle. It is designed to house Hillel UW's two separate programs: one serving the undergraduate community at the University of Washington and the other (Jconnect) serving the entire post-college Jewish young adult community in the Seattle area: graduate students on every local campus, and recent graduates and Jewish young professionals from all over the area.
A State of the Art Facility
The center offers more than enough rooms and parking to accommodate both programs under one roof! This incredible three-story building features a huge auditorium, a dining hall with a commercial kosher kitchen, a cafe, a living room, a work-out room, a project room, a game room, wide-screen tv, a computer lab, a library, a beit midrash, a garden, a basketball court, and wireless internet throughout!
Our workout room, library, computer labs, and cafe are open for drop-in use by our participants during regular building hours during the week. We are also open periodically on the weekends for special events. Feel free to stop by and check out the entire facility.
Renting Rooms in our Facility

Getting to Hillel by Bus
The following bus routes stop within a few blocks of Hillel:

Getting to Hillel by Car
From I-5 North or South: Exit at 50th St. Go 10 blocks East to 17 Ave NE,
Hillel will be on your right.
From 520 East or West: Exit at Montlake and head North across the Montlake Bridge. Pass the stadium and Athletic center and veer right towards Sand Point.
Make a sharp left onto NE 45th St and head up the ramp towards Campus.
Turn right on 17th Ave NE and go two blocks. Hillel will be on your left.

Parking at Hillel
Hillel Lot - There is free parking in the lot adjacent to the Hillel building (to the South), and in the spots behind the Hillel building (to the West). Enter from the Alley on 50th St NE.
Street Parking - There is free street parking on most of the nearby streets, although during the day open spots can be scarce.
50th St NE and NE 15th Ave - There is a large pay lot a block and a half from hillel on the South East corner of the intersection of NE 50th St & 15th Ave NE.
Parking on the UW Campus - There is parking available on the UW campus three blocks south of hillel. Enter campus at 17th Ave NE and NE 45th St. Campus parking is free on week nights after 9 pm, Saturday after Noon and Sunday allDay. Click here for campus parking rates.
No Parking Across the Street From Hillel- There is no longer Hillel parking available in the lot directly across the street from Hillel on 17th Ave NE. If you park there your vehicle will be towed.
