SJCS After School Instructors Wanted
Seattle Jewish Community School is hiring instructors for its Before and After School Program (BASE). BASE courses are offered for our K-5 students and are held between 3:45 and 5:00 Monday through Thursday. Instructors are expected to arrive five minutes earlier and stay until 5:05. Instructors should enjoy working with children, be punctual, and diligent. Pay is $15/hour.

Four positions are open and they start on August 31st:
• Recess Mentor Tuesday and Thursday. Facilitates safe play on the playground or with board games.
• Lego Instructor Thursday. Leads and supervises lego activities and play. Conflict resolution skills are essential.
• Private Tutor. Tuesday and Thursday. Works with children one on one.
• Homework Club Mentor Monday through Thursday. Helps students finish homework. Some proficiency with Hebrew and or familiarity with Judaic Studies a plus. This position’s hours are 3:15 – 5:00.
