Advocacy 101

Ready to stand up and have your voice be heard? Are you passionate about issues impacting the Jewish community? Do you want to get involved with advocacy but don't know where to start?

Come and join your fellow Jewish leaders to learn about how YOU can make a difference. The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle will be presenting an intro to advocacy, which will include a summary of their lobbying efforts, information about how things get done in Olympia, and an explanation of Jewish Community Lobby Day (Feb 25).

Washington has led the way for other states, and even the nation, on issues of critical importance, such as gun violence prevention. This means that YOUR advocacy has a critical impact! This Seattle Jewish community is proud of the progress we have made and we know our work is only getting started. Through this Advocacy 101 opportunity, Jewish Federation will help to bring in a key component: YOU! With your support and attendance, our community’s voice will be louder and stronger. Please join us at Hillel UW in the second floor Auditorium to get your questions answered and kick-start your advocacy journey.
