Hillel at the University of Washington is situated right off campus, in the heart of the U-District. We aim to serve the over 2,000 Jewish students on campus, providing weekly Shabbat dinners, holiday services and programming, Israel engagement, and more. Hillel UW is open daily for students, featuring Café LeVine – a hangout spot for students as well as free coffee, tea, and snacks in the afternoons, a fully equipped gym, and several quiet study spaces for students.
A large mix of people make Hillel UW a wonderful community within the larger context of such a large university. Our students span all Jewish denominations, and Hillel’s pluralistic mission strives to make everyone feel at home. Whether you are studying engineering, interested in getting involved with LGBTQ life, living in the Greek system, or active in politics, Hillel UW is the community for you.
