Work at Hillel UW

Part-time Work for Students – We are not currently hiring for these positions due to Covid-19 building closures.  If you are interested in working at Hillel UW once we re-open, feel free to apply (see information below) and we will be happy to hold your resume and get in touch with you once we can offer you an interview.

Hillel UW Maintenance:
Various tasks include the set-up of tables and chairs for events, straightening furniture in the building. Basic maintenance such as replacing lightbulbs, touch up painting and reattaching cabinet doors. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, taking out garbage as needed (we have a third party cleaning company that comes twice a week to do the bulk of the cleaning). Picking up garbage on the grounds and running the leaf blower and power washer, etc.

If hired, participation in a mandatory training session is required before your first shift.

This position is Monday through Friday from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. You may apply for one or more days. SEE BELOW TO APPLY.

Hillel UW Dishwasher:
Various tasks include setting tables & helping prepare for Shabbat dinner at Hillel UW. Welcome everyone into the building. Help clear the tables. Run the commercial dishwasher, wash & put away the dishes. Secure & lock the building when finished.  Dinner is included for you as well!

If hired, participation in a mandatory training session is required before your first shift.

This position is most Fridays from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm (second Friday of the month until 11:00 pm). SEE BELOW TO APPLY.

Hillel at the University of Washington has a diverse student population, and a rich tradition of community engagement and support.
