Gelt Making

Wednesday, December 02

4:30pm to 6:00pm
Hillel UW
4745 17th Ave NE
Seattle WA 98105

In the spirit of Hanukkah, it's time to bring out the gelt molds and make some chocolatey treats for the holiday!

During Hanukkah, we remember the ongoing struggle for liberation in the face of oppression. While making gelt, we have the opportunity to think about how oppression still exists in our world today. We will be using fair trade chocolate to make our gelt, as a way to acknowledge the reality of slavery that still impacts our world.

Join us for a night of conversation and chocolatey treats to take home for the holidays :)

See you then!!
