How wonderful it is that no one need wait a single moment to start to improve the world. ~ Anne Frank
Hillel UW believes in the importance of service and social justice. Staff and students organize regular volunteer opportunities, alternative spring breaks locally and around the world, advocacy opportunities, learning, and other service programs as part of our commitment to Tikkun Olam.
College students want to change the world. You are building homes around the world. You are planting trees, volunteering in soup kitchens, and raising your voices and money for charity. Hillel is here to help you with this amazing work. We help students tackle some of the biggest issues through a Jewish lens with events like Challah 4 Justice (see above photo) and Teen Feed.
If you have a social justice cause or idea, contact our Undergrad Director.
