Our Library

Did you know that Hillel UW has a small library of Jewish books?
Stop by sometime to check out our collection!

The library collection at Hillel UW serves the research, learning, recreational and religious needs of its community, providing resources for education on all aspects of Jewish life – religion, history, culture, philosophy, literature, and more.

LibraryThing is an online service to catalog books easily, creating an easily searchable online collection. You can access the catalog and search records from anywhere to see what the library has – even on your mobile phone. Looking for topic ideas on a school assignment at 2am when you can’t get to Hillel UW? Trying to remember the title of that one young adult novel, Passover cookbook, or photography anthology about Israel? Search by title or authors, and explore the subject tags – find short mystery stories, explore histories of Jewish Americans in the 20th century, discover a work carefully crafted by an influential Rabbi. You can know exactly what you want to check out and where it is the moment the building opens, or take your time to explore and discover just the right books you need.
