During this very difficult time for Jewish students, Hillel UW is committed to supporting YOU.
Our goal is to be a safe “home away from home” for Jewish students. In response to an increase in anti-Israel and anti-Jewish rhetoric and behaviors on college campuses, we have upgraded and enhanced our security measures, increased staffing, counseling, food and supplies to keep you, Jewish students at UW and other area colleges, physically, spiritually, and emotionally safe.
We know many of you are connected to family and friends in Israel and this time calls for being empathetic toward one another.
For upcoming events related to the war in Israel and happenings at Hillel and on campus, please see our calendar here, sign-up to receive our undergraduate newsletter, and follow us on Instagram @huskyhillel. Additionally, if you have program ideas, feedback or just want to talk please reach out to Ellie, our Director of Jewish Student Life.
We continue to run all sorts of programs including a weekly Chadar Ochel (dining room/dinner) as a space to talk and share that is staffed by Israeli UW alumni and local Israeli young adults.
