11:00am to 11:30amJoin Oregon Hillel at UO and OSU, University of Washington, and the Arava Institute in a half-hour conversation, speakers Shadi Al-Zanoon and Moshe Farber will share stories from their time at the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies, showing that multiple, often contradictory truths can be held and accepted in a single space. They will illustrate how they are using dialogue as a tool for environmental peacebuilding in the Middle East, and how transboundary collaboration can help stabilize ecological conflict. Participants will also be able to hear more about how to get involved in the mission of the Arava Institute.
