Earth Day Virtual Rally: Letter Writing Lunch and Learn

Wednesday, April 22

12:00pm to 1:00pm

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day by engaging with your community through digital activism. We may not be able to gather for a rally, but our voices will still be heard! Environmentalism is deeply valued in Judaism, as is advocacy. Take this opportunity to hear from The Nature Conservancy in Washington State about the issues that are facing us all. After we've learned about what needs to be done, we'll raise our voices by electronically contacting our elected officials. Participating in a large-scale, informed letter writing campaign can be a very effective way to engage our decision-makers on the issues that are important to us. Even in this time of crisis, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day reminds us of the important work we can all do to create a better world.

RSVP here for a Zoom link.
