Hillel WinterFest

Wednesday, February 17

5:00pm to 6:00pm

WinterFest is Hillel International’s first-ever virtual winter festival designed to bring light to your life during the darkness of winter — and it wouldn’t be Hillel if it didn’t come with some FREE swag (delivered to you)!

Hunter Duryee and Hillel UW counselor, Sheri Davis, will be facilitating the Hillel UW WinterFest cohort, a 4-session weekly series called Back at Home: Learning to Survive and Thrive with Parents (and Others).

We might not be able to change our family, but we can change the roles we play in our relationships with our family. In this series, we’ll reflect on the challenges and joy of life at home with an eye on how to bring out the best in ourselves and those around us.

This will be an opportunity for us to reflect on our roles in our families and the challenges and joys of being home with our families (or with roommates) during the school year or over a long break.

By participating in WinterFest, you’ll have the chance to hang with friends (while making some new ones), take part in exciting virtual Jewish learning, and collect some swag too!

All times are 5:00 - 6:00-m

Session 1, Feb 3: The Roles We Play

Session 2, Feb 10:  Anger, and What We Do With it

Session 3, Feb 17:  Responsibility in Relationships

Session 4, Feb 24: Love Languages
