Immigration Conversation with Congresswoman Jayapal

As part of HIAS Refugee Weekend 2021, join Congregation Beth Shalom for a Zoom event. Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal will share her work for immigrant rights - from her career before elected office to her current introduction of the Roadmap to Freedom Resolution, an effort to transform the immigration system to one that is focused on dignity and rooted in the needs and lives of impacted people. After Congresswoman Jayapal’s talk, we have the opportunity to take direct action for immigrant justice together. Cosponsors: Eitz Or, Hillel UW, Jewish Coalition for Immigrant Justice Northwest, Jewish Family Service, Jewish Federation, Kadima, Kavana Cooperative, Kol Ami: A Center for Jewish Life, Temple Beth Am, Temple B'nai Torah, Temple De Hirsch Sinai.
