In Search of Our Roots

Join us for a special Tu B’shevat event exploring and learning about Jewish community roots.

Seattle Author, Revital Shiri-Horowitz, will hold a panel discussion hosting:

Prof. Devin Naar, chair of the new Sephardic Studies Program of the Stroum Center for Jewish Studies, will share his research on the Jews of Greece and his recent unique archive of Sephardic resources.

Author Sarit Yosef-Gradwel, author of the historical fiction  Sapări Thamma Thămima", will talk about her book and research on the Jews of Yamen.

Danny Almosnino will share his personal family tree search and findings, traced back to 1200s.
