Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of American Mah Jongg! Everyone is welcome -- students, Jconnectors, and community members!
Noshing and schmoozing (snacking and socializing) included!
We are now using the NMJL 2026 playing card. If you do not have one, you can order cards directly from the National Mah Jongg League here. A limited supply of playing cards are available to undergrads at no charge. Be cautious that cards offered on other sites are often fake or contain errors.
***All registrants are automatically added to our Mah Jongg mailing list. If you are a beginner interested in lessons or an experienced player interested in attending in the future, please email Ellie to be added to our list.***
Polish your skills between sessions with these resources:
Mahjongg4Friends gives you instructions in little bubbles, suggests hands and links to a tutorial. Helpful with or without the playing card.
American MahJong Practice is an app that gives you practice with the Charleston and suggests hands to try to achieve. Play solo or against the computer.
My Jongg.net lets you practice against the computer and/or other players with access to 4 free games per day. You can play with friends by creating a private table with a password. Playing card required.
