Many of us have been talking about race, power and privilege in recent days.  What Jewish texts and traditions can inform our understanding about our obligations to work for justice and solidarity with marginalized communities in our cities?  Join Hillel UW on Monday January 19th  to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and study these important ideas with local Rabbis.

We will start with breakfast at 9:45 AM followed by learning at 10 AM.

We will then join the Seattle-wide MLK Day celebration at Garfield High for speakers and a march to downtown Seattle.

For more information on the rally and march go to: http://www.mlkseattle.org/
