Purim Food Drive for the UW Food Pantry

One of the mitzvahs, good deeds, of Purim is Matanot L'Evyonim (giving gifts to the less fortunate). It is a tradition on the holiday of Purim to give money to people in need and/or donate to an organization or cause you care deeply about. This Purim, we have partnered with the UW Food Pantry to help stock up the pantry.

We will be collecting food at Hillel from Monday, March 10th to Friday, March 14th.

Food that the UW Food Pantry is looking for: shelf-stable, unexpired (or under 3 months expired), unopened and undamaged, has a listed expiration date, feminine and other hygiene products
