Seattle Jewish Film Festival Special Screening

Thursday, March 30

6:30pm to 8:00pm
Hillel UW
4745 17th Ave NE
Seattle WA 98105
Contact: Hillel UW +SJCC

Join us for a special screening of SJFF's Shorts Program: Saying Kaddish.

This free program of short films examines the metaphorical progression and three stages of Jewish mourning rituals—from Aninut to Shiva to Sheloshim—noting the passing of parents, grandparents, neighbors, strangers, and even a beached whale. These beautiful lamentations also attest to how international artists sanctify a period of global grief with cinematic blessings.

The SJFF runs from March 11-26th. This is a special event running after the official film festival is over.

This event is FREE to UW students!
