Spirituality for the Non-Religious

Thursday, November 12

Religion is on the decline. Or is it? With insights about Starbucks, drag queens, Persian gardening, the Bible, birthday cake, the TV show Dirty Jobs and more, Rabbi Patrick shows that the way we talk about religion and spirituality is all wrong. It’s really about two journeys: one inside, one outside, and the moment those journeys collide.

Rabbi Patrick, The Tattooed Rabbi, is part of a revolution of cutting edge spiritual leaders. Combining technology, new media and social commentary, Rabbi Patrick addresses the deepest longings of news and non-Jews alike: generations of people who are looking for connection.

In addition to writing for the Times of Israel, Kveller and My Jewish Learning, Rabbi Patrick has co-authored and edited several books including three siddurim, and he is the founder of PunkTorah, OneShul and Darshan Yeshiva.

Join Hillel UW and the Wesley Center for an evening you won't want to miss!
