Vintage UW- for Seniors

Sunday, March 08

1:00pm to 4:00pm
Hillel UW
4745 17th Ave NE
Seattle WA 98105

We're heading back to Gallaghers with our UW seniors to bottle the wine that our Freshman started making!

We'll have the opportunity to learn how wine is made, bottle the wine, and do a little learning with Rabbi Oren Hayon about the traditions that determine whether wine is kosher, and  gain understanding about the role of wine in Jewish observance and celebrations.

Once your homemade soon-to-be wine is bottled, it will be stored and aged to perfection. Then, you and your family will be invited to Hillel's Senior Shabbat, where we will make a celebratory toast to your college experience with the wine you made by hand. L’chaim!

We'll meet at Hillel at 1 and leave from there. Let us know if you are able to drive!
