Israel Week Kickoff: Walkathon for Innovation: Africa

Sunday, April 11

12:00pm to 2:00pm
Hillel UW
4745 17th Ave NE
Seattle WA 98105
Contact: Hillel UW

This year our Social Justice Mitzvah Project is to raise money for innovation: Africa,  a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that brings Israeli solar, water and agricultural innovations to rural African villages. Founded in 2008, the organization has completed over 300 projects providing light and clean water to 1.8 million people in 10 African countries.

We will be raising money by asking for pledges from sponsors for the amount of steps we take starting on April 11th.

Join us at Hillel at 12pm to kickoff Israel Week activities with this springtime walkathon fundraiser for innovation: Africa. From Hillel, we’ll walk to Green Lake where a picnic lunch will be waiting for us. Be sure to register HERE

Record your miles and earn raffle tickets as well. This event is open to all students - invite your friends and roommates to join you!
