Yom Kippur Services & Break Fast Meal

Monday, September 21

10:30am to 8:00pm
Hillel UW
4745 17th Ave NE
Seattle WA 98105

Services are free for undergraduates.

10:00 am – Doors Open
10:30 am – Morning Service
11:45 am – Torah Service
12:45 pm – Concluding Morning Prayers

The Hillel building will be open all afternoon as a quiet space for resting and reflecting.

4:45 pm – Memorial Service (Yizkor) and reflection for those we have lost
5:15 pm – Afternoon Service (Mincha) and reading of the story of Jonah and the Big Fish
6:15 pm – Concluding Service (Neilah)

*It is customary to blow shofar at the end of Yom Kippur. Please feel free to bring your own, or you can borrow one at Hillel.

7:56 pm – Final Shofar Blast followed by Break Fast Meal


Break Fast Meal for all attendees will be immediately following the service. No separate RSVP for dinner is required.

You are welcome to join services whenever and for however long you are able to stay.
