Hillel Foundation at the University of Washington builds vibrant communities for Jewish young adults (ages 18-32). The Undergraduate program serves the student population and Jconnect Seattle works with graduate students and young professionals. Hillel is a broad "tent" with a wide range of programs and special interest groups led by students, young adults and Hillel staff.
While Hillel UW's primary mission is to serve undergraduates and post-college young adults in Seattle, we open our doors to the entire Jewish community for High Holiday services, Passover meals, and occasional concerts and lectures throughout the year. We are always happy to meet members of our Jewish community and share more about what we do. Additionally, our new facility, The Karen Mayers Gamoran Family Center for Jewish Life, is available for event rentals when it is not being used for student and young adult programming.

| We are excited to welcome you for the High Holidays. Hillel UW offers traditional egalitarian services in Hebrew, as well as separate liberal services with music for the first day of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur morning. Reservations are required. Community and Jconnect tickets are by donation and student tickets are always free! | Get to know fellow incoming Huskies while participating in a little urban farming! We’ll be volunteering in the community garden project at the Marra Farm Giving Garden in South Seattle and meet with a local celebrity chef for a gourmet cooking class.
