Congregation Beth Shalom Teaching Info Session

Join Rachel Wachtel (Congregation Beth Shalom Education and Youth Director) for a pizza dinner and an opportunity to learn about part-time teaching roles at CBS for the 2025-2026 academic year (September-May with breaks for holidays). CBS has openings in their staff for Sunday teachers (prek-5^th grade), Tuesday teachers (3^rd-7^th grade), and youth group advisors and would love to have more students on their team.  Religious school teachers make $40-$50 an hour, work with amazing students and colleagues, and build their teaching skills through supportive team meetings and workshops.

During this informal gathering you’ll get to learn about CBS, hear from current teachers, and ask any questions you might have. Following this session, any students interested in applying to work at CBS will have the opportunity to sign up for an interview with Rachel.
