Conversion 101 Panel

Thursday, May 28

7:00pm to 8:30pm
Hillel UW
4745 17th Ave NE
Seattle WA 98105
Contact: Jconnect/Hillel UW

On the holiday of Shavuot, we read the story of Ruth, generally considered to be the first convert in our tradition. If you're thinking about converting to Judaism or want to learn more about the experience of Jews by Choice, join us for a panel discussion inspired by Ruth!

Rabbis from multiple denominations will share information and their perspectives on the process, and members of our community who experienced a conversion process will share their lived experience and their perspectives. There will also be some time to mix and mingle with our panelists.

Panel includes:

Rabbi Dusty Klass - Temple B'nai Torah

Rabbi David Benchlouch - Congregation Ezra Bessaroth

Rabbi Paula Rose - Congregation Beth Shalom

$5 cover charge. Feel free to arrive early to grab yourself a drink - the panel begins at 7:30 PM.

Please RSVP here!
