IN THE SHADOW OF WAR AND TERRORISM: PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF KIBBUTZ SURVIVORS OF OCTOBER 7

Participants in the forum will discuss their first-hand experiences of October 7 and the impact of the attack on their kibbutz communities. Moderator: Dr. Shulamit Reinharz, Jacob S. Potofsky Professor of Sociology, Emerita, Brandeis University.

The Yad Tabenkin-United Kibbutz Movement Archives, together with the Yad Yaari Research and Documentation Center, is coordinating the “Western Negev Documentation Project” to collect and preserve source materials related to the October 7 attack and the Israel-Hamas War. Information about the project will be shared as part of the forum.
