Join Rabbi Lauren for lunch and a discussion about 'Celebration and Confrontation: Grappling with Vengeance in the Book of Esther'. While the Purim story invites lighthearted fun, it ends with a tale of revenge. What is this story trying to teach us? How did the ancient rabbis think about it? And how do we contend with it today?

We'll be in Suzzallo Room 334. Bring your lunch, and we'll provide snacks and hamantashen!
