Reclaiming the Mikvah-Women’s Group

Monday, May 23

7:30pm to 9:30pm
Ladywell Spa
8538 1st Ave NW
Seattle WA 98177

Join Hillel UW's Women's Group as we Reclaim the Mikvah.

A Jewish ritual bath, or Mikvah, can be found in almost every Jewish community, and is often used to differentiate between purity and impurity. What does this ritual mean as a Jewish woman? How do we create rituals for ourselves that are meaningful and relevant to our lives?

We are going to have a private experience at Ladywell Spa, where we will discuss what a Mikvah can mean to us as contemporary Jewish women and then we will come together to create our own practice of experiencing the Mikvah!

We will start our workshop with snacks/tea and desert and then move onto activities, so come ready for dinner. There will be plenty of tea and empowering conversation, so see... you then!
If you have any allergies or concerns, please email emma@hilleluw.org

This event is open to a wide range of folks who identify with the word "woman"- cis women, trans women, and people who grew up female are all welcome.

If you have any questions, email emma@hilleluw.org

(We will work out rides sooner to date).
