The Friendship Circle's "Teen Scene" is coming to Hillel UW! Teen Scene is a chance for The Friendship Circle's teen participants to have a fun social time just for them! It helps practice socialization with peers, getting out of their comfort zone and meeting young people just like them- the volunteers!
Contact Lily Rosencrantz via facebook message if you are interested in volunteering at Teen Scene. A limited number of volunteers are needed, so express your interest ASAP.
5-6: HillelUW volunteer training (with pizza!)
6-7:30: Teens from Friendship Circle will join us!
Friendship Circle's mission is to bridge the gap between special needs and typical youth through shared experience, empower special needs youth with the skills they need to live a productive and independent adult life, give parents and families much-needed respite, and nurture a sense of awareness and communal responsibility in our teens.
