Dr. Ruth Calderon: Sephardic Culture and Minority Rights in Israel

Please join us to hear Dr. Ruth Calderon’s personal reflections and thoughts on Sephardic culture and minority rights in Israel in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Dr. Calderon is a former member of the Knesset (2013-2015), is the author of A Bride for One Night and Talmudic Alpha Beta. She is one of Israel's leading thinkers on Israeli culture.

This is a FREE event open to all students, Jconnectors, and community members.

This event is underwritten by a generous grant from the Samis Foundation and is in co-sponsorship with the Seattle Sephardic Network.
