The Great Big Challah Bake

Thursday, November 10

7:00pm to 9:00pm
Seattle Design Center
5701 6th Ave South
Seattle WA 98108

Get ready for an evening of unity and inspiration as we learn the art of making and braiding this traditional (not to mention delicious) Shabbat bread.

Join the Seattle Jewish community as we kick off the International Shabbat Project!

The Shabbat Project is a global, grassroots movement that brings Jews from across the world together around our shared heritage of Shabbat. The initiative was introduced in South Africa in 2013 to astonishing effect, and in the days that followed, the Jewish world heard, and was inspired by, how the majority of the community kept Shabbat in full, and how Jews were brought together in unprecedented ways.

This event will take place at the Seattle Design Center and is not a program of Hillel UW. We would love to invite all to attend!
