Since 2022, Hillel UW has been a center for learning, playing and connecting through Mah Jongg. Undergraduates, graduate students, Jconnectors (Jewish 20-30 somethings), and community members of all ages gather at the Hillel UW building on select Sunday afternoons throughout the year, at no cost, to explore the wonderful world of Mah Jongg.
Tile sets passed down from generation to generation are kept alive through lessons, practice and open play. Friendships are formed that create opportunities to play, improve and schmooze inside and outside of Hillel. Every player has a story; Hillel UW is where these stories unfold.
